Vanderpump Rules alum Tom Sandoval recently made his second appearance on NBC’s America’s Got Talent with his band. However, despite getting some praise for his first performance, he didn’t receive enough votes to continue on the show. Now, he’s opening up about what’s next in his entertainment career.
Tom, 43, has had musical aspirations for quite some time now. He’s been with his band, Tom Sandoval & The Most Extras, since 2021. They are a cover band, but Tom has stated in the past that he’s not against recording original music.
Tom spoke to US Weekly following his elimination from America’s Got Talent. Regarding what he has up his sleeves, the VPR alum said, “I just did House of Villains season three, which I’m really excited about.” Tom continued, “I’m hearing such good things from production and people around that [show] that it’s gonna be an amazing season — maybe the best season yet.”
Regarding his experience on the show, Tom revealed, “It was such a great experience. I really was so pleasantly surprised. It might be one of my favorites yet. … In a show like House of Villains, you really have an opportunity to develop friendships and connections. I was in there making cocktails, and it was a really cool environment.”
The outlet also asked him about the rumors that he’s joining The Valley for season three. Notably, his former Vanderpump Rules co-star Jax Taylor was recently announced to be leaving the show. According to him, “I don’t really have any plans to do it.”
He went on, “I have mixed feelings about it. I really have enjoyed not showing up and just having to film, where you just show up and you just about spill your stuff all the time. I also have a lot of things in the works right now. Obviously, I can’t talk about it, but I’m working on a lot of stuff behind the scenes.”
In reflecting on his stint on AGT, Tom said, “I’m just happy to be there. I feel so lucky to just be there, to be among such great acts and such great talent. Anything after this in all honesty is just a bonus.”
