Finally out in the open. After months of speculation, Teddi Mellencamp has apparently confirmed that she cheated on longtime hubby Edwin Arroyave with horse trainer Simon Schroeder.
The former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, 44, confessed on the Jamie Kern Lima podcast to doing “things that hurt other people” and unintentionally “maximizing” the impact — which included her own divorce and Simon’s, which was filed by his ex-wife Karli after affair rumors bubbled up.
Teddi even posited that her stage 4 cancer diagnosis just months after the scandal was “payback” for straying. Certainly, her illness “put a new perspective on things,” says a source, explaining that Edwin, 48, pressed pause on their divorce “to support her. They had their kids [Slate, 12, Cruz, 10, and Dove, 5] to consider, and while there’s no denying that the relationship is damaged, Teddi is extremely sorry and regretful for what she did. If she could do things over again, she would.”
