Gina Kirschenheiter is getting real about how the “Real Housewives of Orange County” cast feels about their co-star Katie Ginella.

In an exclusive interview with Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea,” Kirschenheiter, 41, says that Ginella, also 41, makes the women of “RHOC” feel “unsafe” after filming Season 19 of the unscripted Bravo hit.

Gina Kirschenheiter is getting real about the growing tension within the Real Housewives of Orange County cast. In a candid and exclusive interview with Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” podcast, the longtime Bravolebrity opened up about why she and her castmates feel increasingly “unsafe” around new co-star Katie Ginella following the filming of Season 19.

According to Kirschenheiter, who has been a staple of the franchise since Season 13, the drama on and off camera reached new levels this season — much of it centered around Ginella, a newcomer to the group and wife of golf reporter Matt Ginella.

“Listen, I’m all for strong personalities and stirring the pot a little — that’s part of what makes this show entertaining,” Kirschenheiter, 41, said. “But Katie’s behavior has crossed a line for a lot of us. It’s not just drama for the cameras anymore. It’s creating a genuinely toxic environment.”

While Kirschenheiter didn’t go into explicit detail about specific incidents, she hinted that Ginella’s off-camera actions — including spreading rumors, allegedly leaking behind-the-scenes information to blogs, and pushing personal boundaries — have made the cast wary.

“There’s a difference between being a dynamic housewife and being someone who makes people question whether they’re emotionally or even physically safe showing up to a filming,” she continued. “Some of us have had to take a serious step back and reevaluate what we’re willing to put up with.”

The cast's discomfort reportedly reached a boiling point during a group trip to Napa Valley, where sources say a late-night confrontation between Ginella and multiple cast members nearly ended in producers stepping in to deescalate the situation.

“She has this way of twisting narratives and playing victim, all while stirring the pot behind the scenes,” said one insider close to production, who asked not to be named. “It’s not just your typical Housewives drama — it’s manipulative and calculated.”

Bravo has not yet commented on the growing controversy, but fans are already speculating how the network will handle the situation in Season 20. Some viewers have taken to social media to defend Ginella, while others are siding with Kirschenheiter and the original cast.

Kirschenheiter says she’s speaking out now not to attack Ginella, but to shed light on a situation that’s affecting the mental health and wellbeing of the group.

“I think it’s important that we start talking about how reality TV impacts the people in it,” she said. “We’ve all signed up for the chaos — but there has to be a line. And for many of us, Katie crossed it.”

As Season 19 continues to air, audiences can expect to see more of the tensions unfold on screen — but behind the scenes, it’s clear that the drama is far from over.

“People can call it drama, but for us, it feels a lot more real than that,” Kirschenheiter concluded. “And that’s the scariest part.”
