Erika Jayne and Andy Cohen reportedly went head-to-head at the taping of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reunion.
Ahead of the October 6 premiere of the four-part special, a source close to production said Erika and Andy were seen “fighting” on set as Erika’s castmates, Garcelle Beauvais and Lisa Rinna, engaged in their own race-triggered feud.
“Most of the fighting was actually done [between] Andy and Erika,” the insider told Hollywood Life on September 27. “And it is what a lot of the reunion will be about. [But] Erika isn’t mad at all at Andy. And she understands he had a job to do.”
Meanwhile, Garcelle allegedly confronted Lisa after she made an apparently offensive comment about race.
“Garcelle got emotional and she came hard for Lisa Rinna,” the source said. “Lisa made a comment about race and it set Garcelle off and they got into it. It was a continuation of Garcelle’s feelings after last night’s episode. It’s something she’s quite passionate about.”
Although things between Garcelle and Lisa were tense at the reunion, the insider went on to say that the women were genuinely disappointed that they couldn’t get to a better place in their relationship.
“Lisa seems to really love Garcelle though and both ladies are sad they’re not the friends they once were, but the reunion sure did not help. It’s one of the best reunions to date,” the source teased.
In other RHOBH news, Erika is working with her attorney in hopes of evading a $25 million lawsuit.
According to court documents obtained by Radar Online on September 27, Erika and her lawyer have requested they be granted two additional weeks to prepare for the proceedings against the reality star, which hope to result in the repayment of millions of dollars to her estranged husband Thomas Girardi‘s former clients.
Following her divorce filing last year, Erika was accused of helping Thomas embezzle money from his former clients after securing them large settlements. Then, after being dragged into a number of lawsuits against Thomas, Erika was accused of receiving $25 million in fraudulent transfers from Thomas’ now-defunct law firm, Girardi Keese.
Erika has denied having any knowledge about Thomas’ alleged crimes.
