David Beador appears to have reconciled with his wife, Lesley Beador, yet again.
Following his most recent divorce filing in June, during which he accused Lesley of physical abuse and requested a restraining order against her, the 60-year-old Real Housewives of Orange County cast member has dismissed his request for divorce.
According to a report from Us Weekly on August 26, David informed the court that he no longer wanted to end his marriage on August 14, and a judge signed off on the request to have his case dropped.
As RHOC fans may recall, David and Lesley got married in October 2020 and welcomed their daughter, Anna Love, in February 2021.
In his June divorce filing, David declared that he and Lesley had signed a prenuptial agreement before they wed, which awarded Lesley with $10,000 per month in spousal support for half of the length of their four-year marriage. He also requested joint legal and physical custody of Anna and a restraining order against Lesley.
“Lesley has physically abused me on several occasions and only a small portion of those incidents have been detailed in previous domestic violence actions,” he wrote in the petition, proceeding to detail a fight they had before a scheduled vacation.
“During our argument, Lesley physically attacked me, gouging large chunks of skin out of my arm,” David said, adding that Lesley had “cornered” and “forcefully slapped” him in the face several times.
After asking the court to keep Lesley away from him and his home, aside from custody exchanges, David wanted her to take part in a batterer intervention program.
As for their homes, David asked to remain in their Orange County, California, mansion, but he agreed to let Lesley live in their Montana home during the summer.
In response to his filing, the court granted David a temporary restraining order, which he dropped weeks later, on July 17.
In another filing against Lesley, David reflected on their “many ups and downs,” including “prior [divorce petitions] filed and dismissed and domestic violence restraining orders.”
“I have always been concerned that Lesley’s relationship with me has been primarily based upon her desire to live a luxurious standard of living. In our case [it’s] not just a cliché that Lesley married me for my money. In our case it is a fact, she has made that very clear to me literally,” he concluded.
