Bravo legend (and Daddy, iykyk) has a little beef with the Hoboken skyline right now. The host and media star recently took to his Instagram Stories to lament about the W Hotel in Hoboken‘s neon signage, noting how “bright” it was at night for lower Manhattan residents, including himself.
Cohen, who recently sold his West Village apartment for $12 million, moved to another area in downtown Manhattan with better views, it seems. According to reports online, the new apartment’s price tag was around $18 million and included outdoor space and more space for his two children, Ben and Lucy. Those new apartment views, including those of the Jersey City and Hoboken skylines, come with a bit of an “eye sore.”
He shared on his Instagram Stories some recent photos of his new space, which were shared on Bravo Daily Dish, including a view of the Freedom Tower to the south, and on the interior — disco balls — see below:

But those views, it seems, have created the issue. The view of the W hotel at night across the river has been plaguing Andy’s views and sleep patterns. He posted on his Stories in a series of videos over the last few nights, saying, “Last night I posted about how bright the lighting is atop the W Hotel in Hoboken, New Jersey. It is a blazing bright W. And I implored the folks, our friends, at the W hotel to dim it. And I would like to say that that post went viral, that everyone was talking about it. But it didn’t on any level. However, I did get a smattering of responses from folks who had noticed the same thing and they agreed with me, saying ‘it’s too bright’ – it’s crazy.”
He then posted additional stories, sharing videos of the W hotel’s current, new blue signage color.
“Here we are tonight. Last night the sign was red and very bright. Tonight, it is a dimmer blue! And it’s softer in hue, I would argue that it’s more pleasing, which makes me think that the folks at the W are listening. And, I think I did a little field work for us. This seems better to me than last night. So…you’re welcome? …residents of lower Manhattan, I don’t know.”
