Jess Edwards and Spencer Conley are one of the strongest couples left on Bachelor In Paradise. But viewers haven’t seen much of their romance showcased on the show. He opened up about the limited amount of screen time their love story has gotten so far this season.

Spencer Conley Reveals Which Bachelor Nation Show He Prefers

Jess Edwards and Spencer Conley have a strange thing in common. They were both eliminated in Week 6 on their respective Bachelor Nation shows. Jess Edwards was a contestant on Joey Graziadei’s season of The Bachelorette. Spencer Conley pursued Jenn Tran on Season 21 of The Bachelorette.

They both joined Season 10 of Bachelor In Paradise for another chance at finding love on reality TV. Jess and Spencer were among the first arrivals on the beach. They bonded and even shared a kiss when he gave her a tour of the fancy new resort. Jess enjoyed a brief flirtation with Sam McKinney but ultimately chose to explore her connection with Spencer.

As a vet of two Bachelor Nation shows, Spencer Conley shared his honest assessment on the differences between The Bachelorette and Bachelor In Paradise.

A fan asked during a recent Instagram Q&A which show Spencer prefers. He echoed what other Bachelor Nation stars have said. Spencer said that he prefers Bachelor In Paradise because there are more opportunities to spend time together compared to The Bachelorette.

Why Bachelor In Paradise Isn’t Showing His Romance With Jess Edwards

Jess Edwards and Spencer Conley immediately hit it off on the beach. She revealed during a podcast interview that she actually had her eye on Spencer when he was on The Bachelorette. She admitted to sliding into his DMs. Jess never got a response, but was happy to get a chance to know him on Bachelor In Paradise.

Jess and Spencer are one of the few couples on Season 10 who haven’t faced drama or betrayal. Things are getting intense now that a $500,000 cash prize is in play. But the couple remains committed to strengthening their relationship, not winning money.

Another Bachelor In Paradise fan asked Spencer why his romance with Jess hasn’t been on much this season. He replied that it is likely because they are less dramatic than some of the other couples.

He noted that as a reality TV show, Bachelor In Paradise features “drama and conflict” more than love stories. But he admitted that he thinks the editors are making the wrong move. After his time on The Bachelorette, Spencer Conley said that he became a reality TV show junkie.

His favorite thing to watch is “strong connections” and people falling in love on reality TV shows. Bachelor Nation fans agreed with him that Season 10 doesn’t show enough of the couple.

“I know it’s pretty standard that the strongest couples get the lowest screen time, but this feels so much worse than past seasons,” one fan said. The producers may have gotten the memo.

They dropped a deleted scene on YouTube of Jess and Spencer’s romantic moonlit walk.
