Lisa Hochstein is offering an update on her co-parenting relationship with ex-husband Lenny Hochstein.
While also explaining why she finally decided to unfollow Larsa Pippen‘s ex-boyfriend, Marcus Jordan, 34, on Instagram, the 43-year-old Real Housewives of Miami star, who shares son Logan, 10, and daughter Elle, 5, with the plastic surgeon, admitted that dealing with her former spouse isn’t always easy.
“Look, we’re just trying to coexist,” Lisa told The Daily Dish on August 20. “He’s not the easiest guy to deal with, but I’m trying to do my best for my kids because it’s all about them.”
During a June episode of Two Ts in a Pod, Lisa shared similar sentiments, stating that while there was “no love” between her and Lenny, their children “want us to be friends,” and having a cordial relationship would “be better for everybody.”
“I don’t know if we will ever be friends … My goal is to just be a good co-parent with him because ultimately, that’s all I care about: the kids and their well-being,” she explained.
Meanwhile, on the August 21 episode of the RHOM: After Show, Lisa said that when it came to her decision to unfollow Marcus, Larsa, 51, wasn’t her motivator.
“I decided, for the better of the group … I didn’t want to have this dark cloud over the group, so at that point, it was getting so much conversation about this. I’m like, ‘Who cares? Unfollow,'” she recalled. “I didn’t do it for Larsa; I did it for everybody else to have peace.”
According to Lisa, she wanted to keep her unfollow a secret at first because she wanted to see how Larsa would naturally react.
“[I wanted to see] if that was really the reason, or would she keep it going, the anger and the animosity against me,” she explained. “She just doesn’t want to take any part of [our issues], or any accountability at all.”
As for Larsa, she said that Lisa only unfollowed Marcus because everyone was telling her to do it.
“I feel like she’s getting pressure from all the women to do it. So, it’s like, she’s not really doing it for me. She’s doing it because she knows she’s in the wrong, and everyone’s telling her that,” she noted.
The Real Housewives of Miami season seven airs Thursdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
