RHOC's Alexis Bellino Celebrates Glamorous 'Wow Before the Vow' Party Ahead of Her Wedding to John Janssen

Alexis Bellino celebrated her upcoming wedding to fiancé John Janssen with a fun spin on the traditional bridal shower.

The Real Housewives of Orange County star, 48, gathered with loved ones for a glamorous "Wow Before the Vow" party on Saturday, Aug. 16, according to a press release. The exclusive guest list for the event, which was held at the Truly Blessed Jewels boutique in Newport Beach, Calif., included RHOC's Tamra Judge and Jo De La Rosa, and McBee Dynasty's Galyna Saltkovska.

Members of Bellino and Janssen's families were also in attendance.

Lisa Valenzuela, owner of Truly Blessed Jewels and a friend of Bellino's, hosted the soirée, which "reimagined the traditional bridal shower with a stylish, intimate flair." Guests were treated to celebratory champagne and custom-crafted mocktails, along with grazing boards featuring charcuterie, crudités, salmon and cream cheese, and more.

The partygoers played a fun trivia game, created by Bellino's best friend, to determine who knows the bride-to-be the best. The top three winners scored custom permanent jewelry from Truly Blessed Jewels as a prize.

Every guest also took home a custom silver jewelry dish engraved with their name as a special keepsake.

During one emotional moment at the party, Bellino, her daughter Mackenna and Janssen's daughter each received matching permanent bracelets to symbolize their "union as a family," per the release.

Photos from the celebration show Bellino mingling and posing with her guests. She wore a bridal-inspired white two-piece look featuring a floral eyelet lace top and matching skirt.

Judge, 57, opted for a fit-and-flare dress with a striking black-and-white motif, while De La Rosa wore a pink and white floral print long-sleeved dress and translucent sandals. Saltkovska sported a yellow sleeveless midi dress.

Reflecting on the festive occasion, Bellino said, “This party was everything I could’ve dreamed of. To be surrounded by the people I love most, in a space that feels so special to me, was truly unforgettable.”

Bellino and Janssen got engaged in August 2024 after nine months of dating. The insurance executive popped the question during a getaway to the San Ysidro Ranch in Santa Barbara, Calif., PEOPLE confirmed at the time.

News of Bellino and Janssen's romance was first reported exclusively by PEOPLE in early December 2023, shortly after Janssen split from RHOC castmember Shannon Storms Beador. Sparks flew between the soon-to-be-married couple when they first met in November 2023 at Orange County eatery The Quiet Woman, according to Bellino.

"We tried to fight the feelings after week two, John and I knew that was it," she explained on RHOC during season 18.

Earlier this year, Bellino spoke exclusively to PEOPLE after her first wedding dress fitting — and anticipated that Janssen is going "to die" when he sees her in it on the big day.

She found her dream dress at Modern Bride in Scottsdale, Arizona, and described it as "so beautiful."

"I did have that wow, Say Yes to the Dress moment," she said. "And I actually thought my vision was going to be different. But when I put this one gown on, it actually changed everything."

She added: "The gown is actually complementing exactly what we want the wedding to be. It is unconventional, head to toe."

As for whether or not Bravo might film the wedding and give RHOC fans a front-row seat to the nuptials, Bellino remained coy in a separate interview with PEOPLE last September. "I don’t know, so stay tuned," she teased.
