RHOBH's Denise Richards is Accused of Being an Abuser by Ex Aaron Phypers, Plus She Rescues Her 15 Dogs

Denise Richards is set to return to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills for season 14 in some capacity. However, this comes as she’s going through a messy divorce from Aaron Phypers. Now, he’s responding to her claims of abuse, and she has also retrieved her 15 dogs from their marital home.

Denise, 54, and Aaron, 53, tied the knot in September 2018. He also appeared on RHOBH over the years. Sadly, it was announced that he had filed for divorce from Denise in July 2025. Since then, there have been many allegations from both of them, including her accusing him of being abusive and him stating that she cheated.

According to PEOPLE, Aaron entered a response to Denise’s domestic violence restraining order on September 15. As per the order, Aaron wasn’t supposed to have contact with Denise; he was also supposed to pay expenses caused by the alleged abuse, pay spousal support, etc.

In response, he checked a box labeled “do not agree to the requested order” next to each of the orders. He stated in the filing, “There is no need for such orders, as I have not abused her and will not abuse her.”

Aaron also accused Denise of “frequently” calling him and his father. “As well as asking other family and friends to ask me to call her so often that it should be considered harassment, demonstrating that she is not afraid of me and that she is the aggressive one,” he added.

The documents also include screenshots of his call history, showing calls from August 15, 17, and 21. Notably, on August 21, he missed nine calls from Denise.

He also claims in the filing that Denise called him six times on September 2 and four times on the 12th. Aaron then stated that Denise “attacked” him “many times.” He said, “I found an AirTag tracker on my vehicle 7/6/2025, and she admitted putting it there.”

From there, he detailed the RHOBH star arriving on August 3 in her Corvette to retrieve her dogs. However, given the size of the sports car, she didn’t have the space to accommodate them all. He described her visit, saying, “She barged aggressively and forcefully into other family members’ living spaces, including my brother’s room (which he recorded), violating his privacy rights and looking through his personal property.”

He went on, “Denise violently smashed my cell phone, placed it in a trash can buried under bags of trash, and then lied about [it], claiming she had not taken my phone.”

Aaron also responded to Denise’s order for him to pay expenses. According to him, “If anything, she should pay my expenses, as I did not abuse her and she is the abusive one.” Regarding spousal support, he stated in the documents, “She has prevented me from earning income, so she is the only one with income. She should support me.”

The response continued, “Denise did not initially request spousal support, but later modified her papers to request that later. That is ridiculous, and she clearly intends it as a way to harass me, because she knows that she is preventing me from earning money by refusing to allow me to pick up my expensive and sensitive equipment that would be my primary method of earning income.”

He added, “In fact, I believe that this entire domestic violence proceeding is merely a ruse to try to cut me off from being able to obtain spousal support.” Of course, Denise also claimed that he took items from her, such as a cell phone and a laptop.

He wrote in response, “Denise has extremely messy living habits, so it is not a surprise when she cannot find things.” She is also requesting that he return photos; however, he feels that since he took the pictures, including for her OnlyFans account, he is the copyright owner.

Now, according to Page Six, Denise went to the home with a moving truck to take not only her 15 dogs but also various pieces of furniture. She could be seen in photos wearing a pair of black pants, a matching shirt, and a black hat. Her father, Irv Richards, accompanied her as well.
