Real Housewives of New Jersey‘s Teresa Giudice revealed that prison strengthened her relationship with her children during a teaser for World’s Toughest Test.

Tre will appear on Fox’s competition reality show alongside her oldest dorter, Gia Giudice.

The preview:

Gia explained how the Giudice gals ended up on Special Forces. “The opportunity came to us. We really couldn’t pass up.”

“When am I going to say I did these insane things with my mom?!” In the preview, Gia was hyping her mom up as they sat in a vessel that was flooding with water.

Teresa explained, “When I went to prison, it could have ruined the relationship with me and my dorters. But, it did the total opposite.”

Things didn’t stay light and cute for long … In a confessional, Tre asked, “Can we tell [the DS] off if they p*ss us off?”

There was a cut to one of the trainers saying, “You’re stupid.” Teresa responded, “That’s not nice.” The trainer stayed on Teresa’s neck. She had no physical or verbal response. It may be the editing, but it sure looked like Teresa was called “stupid.”

Teresa says she and Gia are “resilient” and have the “willpower to make it to the end.” She and Gia “have the strength and the determination.”

“We definitely are best friends. You can’t crumble, and fall, and give up.” Gia agreed, “That’s what this [competition] is all about.”
