New York Rangers Star Center J.T. Miller Snubbed By NHL Network And Their Latest Ranking

Imagine a world painted by bias. In this case, the NHL Network is blatant with their anti-Ranger bias, as they have snubbed another player in a Blueshirt. This time, instead of it being a royal blue-wearing center, Tage Thompson, it's the Rangers' own JT Miller.

Nothing says recency bias like the NHL Network's own list, which seems to have been constructed by throwing things at a wall and seeing if it sticks.
They've yet again released another dismal list chock full of 20 NHL players, Centers this time. Instead of paying the prospect respect to JT Miller, they have decided to snub him this year.
It's hard to quibble with Mika Zibanejad failing to make the centers list this season. A year ago, Zibanejad ranked No. 19 among top centers by NHL Network. But the 32-year-old clearly played his way out of the top 20.

Players Who Made The List Other Than J.T. Miller?

But who gets to remain on the list? The Buffalo Sabres own Tage Thompson and Sebastian Aho.
Hardly players that are the caliber of JT Miller, who has been a star since he arrived in Vancouver.
Neither Mika Zibanejad or Vinnie Trocheck would crack the top-20, despite Trocheck's reliable play these past two seasons in New York.
But for Miller, who recently came off a 103-point season in Vancouver, it seems almost insulting. While Miller's production declined, it seems that his arrival had already tainted a great season, where he played on two bad teams in New York and Vancouver.
What does that say about Macklin Celebrini, too? Seems a little early considering it all. If Celebrini is on the list, shouldn't Connor Bedard be, too? The lack of logic here is astounding.
Miller would drop to a 70-point production after splitting the season between the Canucks, but it seems like a big joke that Celebrini is here instead of him.
