Love Island USA host Ariana Madix has been cast in the NBC comedy St. Denis Medical in the guest-starring role of Dr. Emerson.

Madix will join St. Denis Medical stars Wendi McLendon-Covey, David Alan Grier, Allison Tolman, Josh Lawson, Kahyun Kim, Mekki Leeper, and Kaliko Kauahi.

The Vanderpump Rules alum recently guest-starred in the ABC procedural Will Trent and has starred in the Broadway musical Chicago, playing the role of Roxie Hart.

Other film and television credits include Lifetime’s Buying Back My Daughter (2023), Paradise City (2021), The Other Two (2019), Waking Up With Strangers (2018), and Anger Management (2014).

St. Denis Medical is a mockumentary about an underfunded, understaffed Oregon hospital where the dedicated doctors and nurses try their best to treat patients while maintaining their own sanity.

Season 2, which is set to premiere on November 3, has hospital administrator Joyce (McLendon-Covey) biting off more than she can chew after receiving a large private donation, while her employees navigate staff shortages, office conflicts, and their own personal lives.

Madix recently finished hosting Love Island USA Season 7, which has been a ratings juggernaut for Peacock. Deadline recently reported that the dating series was the No. 1 title on the Nielsen streaming list during the show’s final week with 1.9B minutes watched, a first for the series and the streamer.

The Love Island USA host filmed the Season 7 reunion this week alongside Andy Cohen, which is set to premiere on Peacock on Monday, August 25 at 9 p.m. ET and 6 p.m. PT. Madix will return to Fiji as the host of Love Island Games Season 2, premiering on Tuesday, September 16, on Peacock.
