Former RHOBH star, Lisa Rinna, took to her podcast to discuss her daughters’ nipple rings … and the time Amelia Gray‘s nipple contracted sepsis, a severe systemic infection.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum’s husband, Harry Hamlin, blocked this from his memory, as I will after this is published.
Rinna’s lips don’t stop moving:
“I was so mad. I was mad,” Lisa ranted. “Don’t you remember, there was a little issue with Miss Amelia at Coachella? Shall I help you with your memory?”
Amelia was at Coachella attending a party where Rinna’s former RHOBH co-star Erika Jayne was DJing. The model had recently gotten at least one nipple piercing; Lisa couldn’t recall whether Amelia had one or both done.
“[Amelia] was up on a balcony, somebody pushed her forward, and her boob went into a bush.”
Rinna pressed the LA Law actor, “It jammed the nipple into the boob. Then, she came home that night, and all of a sudden, she had a super high fever. Her boob was this big. Don’t you remember?” Harry Hamlin joked, “I think I would remember nipple rings on my daughters!”
The diagnosis:
Rinna continued, Amelia’s “boob swelled up to this humongous size” after she visited an urgent care facility and got X-rayed.
“We didn’t know what to do, so we called an infectious disease doctor. She had to go to the infectious disease doctor!”
“[Amelia] had sepsis in her freaking boob.”
“She punctured something when she went into the bush, and she had sepsis. She had to be on IV antibiotics for a week.”
Rinna warned her listeners of the dangers of nipple rings. “It was actually very dangerous. Guys, it was dangerous.”
