Could a Summer House and The Real Housewives of New York City crossover be happening sooner than we think?
Well, that’s still to be determined. But the respective show’s stars, Lindsay Hubbard and Erin Lichy, have a pitch for Bravo patriarch Andy Cohen that’s ready to go.
“I think our friendship is just really natural,” Hubbard, 39, exclusively tells Parade while promoting some of her US Open fashion and beauty essentials from Amazon. “So, yeah, do we talk about crossover stuff? We talk about it all the time.”
“And we’re always scheming something,” Hubbard continues. “Like, currently scheming how to hang out all the time with our babies.” (Hubbard shares daughter Gemma Britt, 8 months, with ex-boyfriend Turner Kufe, and Lichy has four children with husband Abe Lichy.)
In reality, it could be a while before Hubbard gets to hold an apple next to any of the New York City housewives. In May 2025, it was reported the show was taking an indefinite pause to regroup before figuring out its next steps.
“Nothing is official,” a Bravo spokesperson shared at the time as reports surfaced that the reality program would go off air after 15 seasons. “The show hasn’t been cancelled.”
After Hubbard and Lichy, 38, randomly switched dresses in the bathroom at a friend’s wedding a few years ago, the ladies reconnected at BravoCon in Las Vegas in 2023.
“It’s such a holiday in New York,” Hubbard says of the annual outing held at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing Meadows, N.Y. “Typically, we film during the summertime, and then I usually miss all the events that are right after summertime, so anything from fashion week to the US Open.
“What I love about the Open is it’s such a chic vibe,” Hubbard adds. “Obviously, the fashion is going to be really important for me. It’s about mixing something sleek with a sporty edge.”
