For many separated couples, family celebrations can feel like a nightmare loaded with drama and unresolved tensions. But that wasn’t the case for Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky.

On Saturday, September 6, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills parents came together to celebrate their daughter Alexia Umansky’s marriage to Jake Zingerman. Previously released photos and videos showed Kyle and Mauricio putting on a united front at the lavish Los Angeles wedding, where they witnessed the Ketubah ceremony before walking Alexia down the aisle.

Fans got a closer look at Kyle and Mauricio’s reunion in a September 16 Instagram carousel, shared by wedding photographer Heather Kincaid. Slide No. 9 showed the estranged husband and wife sitting side by side as Alexia and Jake exchanged their vows. Although there was no audio, the clip captured a lighthearted moment during the ceremony, as Kyle, Mauricio, and other guests were seen laughing.

It was a heartwarming scene that underscored Kyle and Mauricio’s friendship and shared commitment to their family. Kyle and Mauricio are also parents to daughters Sophia Umansky, Portia Umansky, and Farrah Brittany, Kyle’s firstborn from a previous marriage.

The ex-couple confirmed their marital split in the summer of 2023 after 27 years of marriage. Although their separation has led to some “intense and sad” moments, Kyle and Mauricio have maintained a strong and supportive co-parenting dynamic. Over the past two years, fans have seen the exes reunite for holidays, family celebrations, and the occasional night on the town.

“I’m really proud of how we are navigating through this separation,” Kyle said during her July 21 Amazon Live stream. “We’re great friends, and we love our daughters, and we built a beautiful family, and it’s nice to know that even though we’re separated, we can keep it that way.”

Several months before Alexia’s wedding, Kyle sat down for an interview with ExtraTV and was asked if she had given any marriage advice to her daughter.

“You know what? She’s grown up with her mom and dad, seeing our marriage,” Kyle said. “Obviously, we’re going through what we’re going through now, but [Alexia] always saw a positive image of what that is. And now I think she’s seeing a positive image of what being separated can look like. I think we’re doing the best we can, and I think our kids feel that.”
