Ex-Rangers Forward Jack Roslovic Gaining Some Serious Interest On The Open Market: Per Elliotte Friedman

Jack Roslovic with the RangersAccording to latest reports, former New York Rangers forward is gaining a ton of interest on the open market as he shockingly remains unsigned.

Former New York Rangers forward Jack Roslovic still remains unsigned as the 2025-26 season nears. However, according to NHL Insider Elliotte Friedman it's not due to the lack of interest, as it appears there are a lot of teams interested.
Near the time of the 2024 NHL trade deadline, the New York Rangers made the decision to trade for Jack Roslovic from the Columbus Blue Jackets in exchange for a conditional fourth-round pick in 2026.
However, as the season started to come to an end, Roslovic's time on the ice started to decrease as he only managed to play 19 games for the Rangers where he tallied three goals and five assists. Resulting in Chris Drury deciding to not retain the 28-year old forward.
Leaving him no choice but to sign a one-year, $2.8 million contract with the Carolina Hurricanes. A team where he truly thrived as he recorded 22 goals, 17 assists, and 39 points in 81 games while averaging 13:49 minutes.

Jack Roslovic Gaining Interest From Over Five Teams In The NHL

According to Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman, there are several organizations interested in signing Roslovic, including over five teams reportedly vying for his services.
«He's the best available player remaining. And, obviously, he hasn't found anything he 100 percent likes. But there are definitely a few teams poking around there. I've heard five or six teams. So, he needs to get to something he feels comfortable with,» Friedman said.

So finding a team before the 2025-26 season starts shouldn't be an issue for Roslovic, but he certainly is taking his time before making a final decision.
It has also reported that the Toronto Maple Leafs are one of the many teams linked to Jack Roslovic, along with a possible reunion with the Carolina Hurricanes.
