Aaron, 52, filed for divorce last month, citing "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for breaking up their marriage after six years together.

The Bravo reality star and her husband separated on July 4 before Denise accused her estranged husband of stealing her laptop and sharing her nude photos in an emergency court filing just weeks later.

Aaron, who works at a healing center in Malibu, is seeking spousal support from Richards, the documents claimed, which were obtained by TMZ last month.

The businessman claimed in the divorce papers that he and Denise's monthly expenses cost $105,000 in total.

He requested that the former couple split their entertainment company evenly.

And now Denise has spoken out in a video, where she addresses their split and makes an emotional confession.

"I was just checking in to see how your summer’s been going," she said at the top of the video.

She went on, "Mine’s been wonderful. It’s actually been s*****, but I’m going to pretend like it’s all good.

"I’ve actually been posting on Instagram like nothing is going on in my life, and I can’t do that anymore because there’s something obviously going on."

Denise continued, "I see all of your messages, I can’t comment because it’ll be taken out and put in the press, but I just wanted to, in all seriousness, say that this has been a very, very, very difficult time.

"It’s so hard to go through a divorce.

"Many of you have gone through that.

"This isn’t my first one - this is my second one," she added, referring to her 2006 split from Charlie Sheen.

She then candidly added, "I never thought I’d get divorced again.

"This is why I always say never say never."

Thanking her fans again for their support, she said, "I really just wanted to say thank you so much for all of your supportive, kind, thoughtful, encouraging messages because this has been a very difficult time."

She added how she will address circumstances around her divorce that are difficult to talk about.

Fans flocked to the comments section to support Denise, with one writing, "Sending you nothing but understanding and lots and lots of hugs."

Another said, "You look great Denise! You'll be much happier in no time."

While a third wrote, "Hang in there Denise! You look fantastic and pretty in pink! Stand your ground!"

And a fourth said, "Sending you lots of love, my friend! It’s OK to not be OK and opening up in this way he’s gonna help other people in ways you don’t even know. Sending love!"

The pair, who wed in 2018, did not have any minor children together.

Despite the pair not sharing kids, Aaron did claim in 2019 that he was in the process of adopting Denise's third daughter, Eloise.

Denise first adopted Eloise, 14, as a single parent in 2011.

She also shares two adult daughters, Lola and Sami, with her ex-husband, actor Charlie Sheen, whom she was married to from 2002 to 2006.

Since the pair split, Denise has made allegations of domestic violence against her estranged husband.

Denise has accused Aaron of domestic violence, alleging he "threatened to kill her and caused her at least three concussions."

She alleged that she suffered physical and verbal abuse throughout their marriage.

Her allegations included strikes to her head and face and degrading profanities, according to court documents obtained by The U.S. Sun.

"Throughout our relationship, Aaron would frequently violently choke me, violently squeeze my head with both hands, tightly squeeze my arms, violently slap me in my face and head, aggressively slam my head into the bathroom rack, threaten to kill me," Richards said in court documents.

She also claimed he would hack her laptop and phone and download all of her text messages.

"Aaron regularly threatened to 'break my jaw' and would cry, beg me to stay, and promise to get help - none of which ever happened," the actress added.

"Aaron has caused me at least three concussions. Aaron has told me that he has left recording devices to record me while I was alone in hotel rooms and at my townhouses," she went on in the documents.

In a July 17 statement to People magazine and Us Weekly, Aaron denied his estranged wife's claims of physical and emotional abuse.

Branding the claims as "completely false and deeply hurtful", Aaron denied all of the claims.

In his statement, he said, "Let me be unequivocally clear: I have never physically or emotionally abused Denise — or anyone.

"Denise and I, like many couples, have faced our share of challenges, but any suggestion of abuse is categorically untrue.

"I have always tried to approach our marriage with love, patience and respect."

He added: "I ask for privacy as we navigate personal matters, and I hope that the public and media will refrain from spreading harmful and baseless claims."
