Tamra Judge was about to walk away from The Real Housewives of Orange County earlier this year.
She even announced her departure.
“It was a long run!” the 57-year-old wrote on her Instagram story in March. “When life gives you real problems this reality s**t doesn’t make sense.
“Peace out … I’m out.”
In an episode of Two T’s In A Pod later that month, Tamra admitted, “There’s so much going on in my life and it’s just I don’t know.”
“I just just hit a wall and I feel like I’m gonna be in a full depressed mode,” the mother of four detailed.
In a recent interview with Us Weekly at Alexis Bellino’s bridal shower, she opened up about her mental state for the events of Season 19.
“Going into filming, Teddi Mellencamp had just gotten diagnosed [with brain cancer]. I think people don’t understand the other side of cancer,” Tamra told the outlet. “When your friends or your family member or somebody is diagnosed, you don’t know what’s gonna happen.
“When someone says you have stage four brain cancer — you’re having brain tumors removed from your head — it’s scary as hell.”
The podcast host described herself as “devastated” seeing what Teddi Mellencamp was going through.
