âIâm in a much better places than I was last summer,â the Bravo star told Tom Schwartz during an appearance on his Detox Retox podcast on August 12.Â
âThe Valleyâ star is focused on being âhappy and healthyâÂ
This time last year, Brittany was deep in the breakdown of her marriage to fellow Vanderpump Rules alum Jax Taylor. The ugly split played out during season 2 of The Valley, as Jaxâs years-long issues with drugs, alcohol, and anger finally forced Brittany to file for divorce.Â
As The Valleyâs second season drew to a close, Jax announced that he was stepping away from the show. With the showâs most problematic cast member gone, Brittany â who now has her âsparkleâ back â says sheâs looking forward to The Valley Season 3. (Bravo has not officially renewed the Pump Rules spinoff for another season, but itâs widely expected to return.)Â
âIâm excited for season 3,â Brittany said. âBecause I feel like itâs my time to be happy and healthy and just a whole different Brittany than what you saw last season.âÂ
âA how Brittany got her groove back kind of vibe,â Tom chimed in.Â
âExactly,â she replied.
With a possible season 3 on the horizon, does Brittany have any advice for her future self?
âJust be who you are,â she said. âDonât get in the drama. Which I already donât ⊠I just want everybody to get along at the end of the day.âÂ
Brittany teases âcrazyâ experience on âSpecial Forcesâ Season 4
During her chat with Tom, Brittany also opened up about her upcoming appearance on Special Forces: The Worldâs Toughest Test.
âIt was the hardest thing I have ever done in my life,â she said, adding that she cried âat least three timesâ during filming season 4 of the show, which will also feature RHONJâs Teresa Giudice and her daughter Gia, RHOAâs Eva Marcille, Sister Wives star Kody Brown, and disgraced actor Jussie Smollet, among others.Â
While she canât reveal how long she lasted, Brittany said she gave it her best shot.Â
âLetâs just say I tried,â she said with a laugh.Â
âIâm go glad I did it,â she added. âI pushed myself to do things I never thought I could do ⊠It was a whirlwind. It was crazy. Iâm glad I did it, because it was something different, it was something that pushed myself. With everything thatâs going on in my life, it felt like something that was needed.âÂ
The Valley is streaming on Peacock. Special Forces: The Worldâs Toughest Test Season 4 premieres Thursday, September 24 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Fox. Episodes stream the next day on Hulu.Â
