Bethenny Frankel is keeping up with the backlash over the controversial outfit worn by Kim Kardashian’s eldest daughter, North.
The “Real Housewives of New York City” alum addressed those “criticizing [Kardashian’s] parenting” over the 12-year-old wearing a corset and miniskirt during a family vacation in Italy last week.
“She’s wearing a corset, but you can’t really see anything,” the former Bravolebrity, 54, said in a Monday TikTok video. “She’s 12 years old.”

“You can’t really see anything,” the former Real Housewife said of the 12-year-old’s headline-making ensemble.
Frankel noted, “My opinion is that she’s Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s child. It’s a pretty extraordinary parenting structure.”
After breaking down the Kardashian-Jenner family tree and their “extraordinary … strong family unit,” the Skinnygirl creator said online trolls should not “expect Kim and Kanye’s child to wear ordinary clothing.”
She quipped, “Believe me, if they shopped at T.J. Maxx, you’d be criticizing that.”
She doesn’t believe people should expect “Kim and Kanye [West]’s child to wear ordinary clothing.”
However, Frankel acknowledged that the preteen is giving Kardashian a “run for her money.”
Frankel went on to say that her 15-year-old daughter, Bryn, “doesn’t agree with the expense of the items [that] North wears, the diamonds and the things like that.”
The preteen, notably, carried a heart-shaped Vivienne Westwood purse and rocked a stack of bracelets.
Frankel predicted that North will have a “very hard … next couple of years” because “she’s entering the impact zone.”
“Believe me, if they shopped at T.J. Maxx you’d be criticizing that,” the former Housewife quipped.
Frankel also gave her 15-year-old daughter Bryn’s take on North’s clothing.
The former talk show host said, “Some kids really push back hard, and she’s Kanye West’s daughter. She’s giving [Kardashian] a run for her money.”
Ultimately, Frankel insisted that she doesn’t “believe at all in criticizing people’s children” regardless of “whose children they are” and “what they’re wearing.”
She explained, “I didn’t like when they did it with [Beyoncé’s daughter] Blue Ivy, I didn’t like it when they did it with ‘Housewives,’ I haven’t liked it when they’ve done it with my own child. Kids are off limits.”
The teenager “doesn’t agree with the expense of the items.”
Ultimately, Frankel explained to her followers why she believes “kids are off limits” in online comments.
Frankel posted the same video to her Instagram, which prompted a heated back-and-forth with “Supernanny” Jo Frost.
“You are skirting around the topic, which is do parents play a role in teaching their children how to express their own individual style whilst also not sexually objectifying themselves,” the 55-year-old commented. “It is our job as parents to protect are [sic] children because they are minors.
“It would seem you get that as I’ve never seen your daughter in clothes that sexually objectify her,” Frost concluded.
Frankel also sparred via Instagram with “Supernanny” Jo Frost over North allegedly “sexually objectifying” herself.
Kardashian has yet to comment on headlines over North’s controversial look.
Frankel denied “skirt[ing] around anything,” writing, “The question is should you comment on someone else’s child when no two snowflakes are the same.”
Kardashian has yet to comment on North’s headline-making outfit.
The Skims creator, 44, is also the mother of son Saint, 9, daughter Chicago, 7, and son Psalm, 6.
