Below Deck Mediterranean season 9 has been full of tension due to several of the crew members seemingly faking their poor performances, and it’s time Captain Sandy Yawn takes charge and fires these cast members. Throughout Below Deck Mediterranean season 9, Captain Sandy has been working hard to ensure her crew is working well aboard Mustique, but there have been some serious issues that have seemed to pass her by. With some of her crew members, like returning Chief Stew Aesha Scott, doing a great job handling their responsibilities, the Captain has been deferring to her leads to handle discipline.
Throughout Below Deck Mediterranean season 9, Captain Sandy has faced issues throughout each department of the Mustique’s crew. While the interior was led by Aesha, the stews that she was working with had major difficulties separating their personal and professional relationships. Early on in the charter season, Chef Johnathan Shillingford had issues with the meals he was preparing for guests and crew, making it clear he wasn’t up to par on Captain Sandy’s vessel. Even the exterior department faced issues with their leadership under Bosun Iain MacLean. With so many problems in the crew, Captain Sandy needs to take action.
Jono, Ellie, Bri & Iain Are Causing Too Much Chaos For Captain Sandy
Their Blunders Are Too Frequent
Chef Jono, Bosun Iain, and Stew Ellie Dubiach have been causing Captain Sandy issues all season. While Chef Jono has been able to get himself in shape throughout the charter season, his early performance was a fireable one. Creating dishes that weren’t suitable for the guest's dietary preferences or desires, Chef Jono was nearly fired before picking up the slack of his performance. While there were issues in the kitchen, the exterior team was dealing with Bosun Iain struggling to lead them while making some dangerous calls for the rest of the team without consulting them in the first place.
Ellie’s issues that are finally just reaching Captain Sandy have been growing throughout the charter season, as well. Ellie, who is Aesha’s Second Stew, has been doing her best to work in tandem with the Third Stew Bri Muller, but after the yachties were both interested in the same guy, their conflict escalated quickly. With both women coming after each other, their chaos has caused Captain Sandy to have to get involved, with both women being warned that if their behavior continues, they’ll have to be let go from Mustique. The stew drama has been the most recent for Sandy.
