Bachelor In Paradise Alienates Viewers
The future of Bachelor In Paradise was in doubt after Season 9. The show was abruptly put on pause amid multiple failed engagements. Many fans of the franchise thought the show would never return. But it was brought back for Season 10 nearly two years after Season 9.
Fans were initially excited for its return. But the show underwent massive changes before returning to the air. Season 10 was filmed in Costa Rica instead of Mexico. The network splurged for new cameras that gave the show a glitzy look similar to Love Island USA.
Bachelor In Paradise threw a huge curveball at the remaining contestants in a recent episode. The show introduced a $500,000 cash prize to the winning couple. Many viewers hate that the show is now about money instead of love.
Fans Demand ABC Fire Jesse Palmer
ABC looked long and hard for a replacement for Chris Harrison. The longtime host left the franchise in early 2021. The network temporarily brought in Tayshia Adams and Kaitlyn Bristowe to co-host Seasons 17 and 18 of The Bachelorette.
Comedian David Spade and other celebrities hosted Season 7 of Bachelor In Paradise. But the show needed a permanent host. Jesse Palmer, who was The Bachelor for Season 5, became the permanent host to replace Chris Harrison.
Viewers generally like Jesse Palmer, but one fan of the show took to social media to demand that ABC fire him as host. “Jesse is robotic and uninteresting which was also true in previous seasons too,” the Bachelor In Paradise viewer wrote.
Another fan wrote in response, “This is show needs alot more help than that. Jesse isnt the problem.”
Who They Think Should Take Over
The fan who wants Jesse Palmer fired already has a new host in mind. Two of them, actually. They wrote that Wells Adams and Hannah Brown should take over as hosts of Bachelor In Paradise. Wells was reportedly in contention for the hosting gig after Chris Harrison’s exit. Hannah Brown was brought in for Season 10 to boost ratings.
One Bachelor Nation fan agreed with the idea of Wells as host. They wrote, “Wells alone would be fabulous! He’s chill and connects with the cast. Hannah just giggles and smiles. Jesse is overrated.”
There was speculation again that the network is prepping Wells and/or Hannah to take over as host. Fans might get their wish for Wells to host. According to Reality Steve, Wells Adams will host the upcoming Bachelor In Paradise Season 10 reunion.
