Ariana Madix “Breathes a Relief” When Fans Know About the Vanderpump Rules Reboot: “Every Other Day There’s a New Conspiracy Theory! - lulu

Ariana Madix is excited about the new chapter of Vanderpump Rules. 

The TV personality, 39, told PEOPLE that she was eager for Vanderpump Rules fans to learn about the series' fate. During TheWrap Power Women Summit on Tuesday, Dec. 3, at The Maybourne Hotel in Beverly Hills, Madix said she feels “great” now that the cast reboot is confirmed.

On Tuesday, Nov. 26, Bravo said Vanderpump Rules would be returning for a 12th season with a brand-new cast to join SUR and TomTom owner Lisa Vanderpump. The announcement followed the May season 11 finale and three-part reunion, which left fans questioning if there would be another season at all. As months went by without a formal announcement about the show's future, audiences grew more curious.

“I'm so glad that people finally know what's going on because every other day, there was a new theory,” Madix said.

“It's funny, though, because once the news is actually out, there are new theories about the news itself,” Madix added. “But I'm glad that people and the public now know what's going on.”

During The Hollywood Reporter’s Women in Entertainment Gala on Wednesday, Dec. 4, Madix spoke to PEOPLE about the fanbase's passion for the series.

"That's the best part about Vanderpump Rules is that we had the most diehard incredible fans who, from season 1 and on, just know everything," she said.

"They follow everything they support, they watch, they tune in, they show up to BravoCon. We get to meet them like that has been the most incredible part of everything," Madix noted, before reiterating she's "so glad that there's no more wondering for them."

Although the Bravo series is bringing in fresh faces, Madix will continue to grace the small screen. This past summer, she was named the new Love Island USA host and will continue to do so in the upcoming season. She previously told PEOPLE that while hosting the past season, she was also practicing for her encore return to Broadway.

In the spring, she starred on Broadway as Roxie Hart in Chicago. Then in May, PEOPLE exclusively reported that she would return to the Ambassador Theatre in New York City for another month of performances throughout August.

On Dec. 4, she explained to PEOPLE that making her Broadway debut with her mom in the audience was the highlight of her year. She shed a tear when she spotted her mom in the crowd. "It was the best," she said.

Since wrapping her August performances, she has spoken about what it was like to fulfill a "lifelong dream." At TheWrap’s Power Women Summit, she joined the “Art of Adaptation: Books, Broadway, Blockbusters & Beyond” panel to further discuss her Broadway debut.

She confessed that “in the very beginning,” she was more “concerned about doing it right and hitting everything and doing it the best.” But as time went on, she found herself “morphing into” and wanting “to take good care” of Roxie.
