The Islanders may have picked up a hitchhiker from Fiji.
During the Aug. 25 Love Island USA season seven reunion, eagle-eyed fans were quick to notice an uninvited winged guest that made itself comfortable in host Andy Cohen’s hair.
“Oh man,” an account wrote on X during the reunion alongside photos of a fly that had landed on Andy’s head. “Poor @Andy Cohen got that bug in his hair!”
And indeed, the Watch What Happens Live host was seemingly unaware of the bombshell that secretly entered his villa, as he responded to the tweet, “OMG!!!!”
But while the surprise insect added a moment of levity to the reunion—which featured all the Islanders from season seven, including finalists Olandria Carthen, Nic Vansteenberghe, Chelley Bissainthe, Ace Greene, Amaya Espinal, Bryan Arenales, Chris Seeley and Huda Mustafa—there were also moments that brought the heat.
One such tense interaction was between Huda and Chelley, as they attempted to clear the air between them after their friendship soured during the season’s infamous Heart Rate challenge, where Huda chose to spice it up with Chelley’s couple counterpart Ace.
While fans had wondered about Chelley’s intense reaction during the season, a new clip shared at the reunion showed Huda licking the front of Ace’s underwear and twerking her bare butt in his face.
"I think that I took it a step too far for certain people," Huda conceded during the reunion. "And I do apologize if I made anybody feel uncomfortable. Everything was consensual. There was no limitations, and we all made that very clear at the beginning of the challenge."
Jocelyn Prescod/PEACOCKBut for Chelley, as she expressed during the reunion, Huda’s actions had felt like a betrayal of their friendship.
"I definitely feel like I was justified," Chelley said of her onscreen reaction. "We've always mentioned this whole consensual thing, and everyone's like, 'Yeah, we're all open to everything.' It comes to a thing of friendship and sisterhood. It was never because we didn't consent to this."
She also questioned Huda’s motivations for getting so physical with Ace.
Ben Symons/Peacock"When you do certain challenges, it's with intention, because you're interested in a person," she continued. "To my knowledge, you didn't have any interest for Ace. So, to go as far as that—[with] me being your friend—I think my reasons were very justified. I don't feel like I have to sit here and be like, 'Hey, don't lick the person I'm connected with's dick.' It's just an invisible boundary."
But while Ace and Chelley have weathered the challenges to their relationship and are still happily exclusive, some other couples from the Love Island franchise haven’t fared as well. Keep reading for a status check on your favorite Islanders.
